Collect, document, and record information affecting the scope of work and keep it organized in the job file.
- Design individual connections and welds per requirements of the latest CISC or AISC (ASD or LRFD) specifications.
- Design connections through the use of internal/external spreadsheets.
- Design connections for greater economy.
- Incorporate and compile any possible adjustments or changes made necessary by revised documents.
- Review and depict special loading conditions for connections design.
- Draw clear connections sketches.
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in an effective manner with co-workers and supervisors.
- Perform other job duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications
- BE/B.Tech (Civil) with related experience and training.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures, governmental regulations, drawings and job specifications.
- Ability to communicate effectively with engineering office in English.
- Good attitude and always willing to improve and take more responsibilities.
- Ability to prioritize his own work.
