Job Description For Smallcase Recruitment 2024
We’re looking for an undergrad preferably who will be graduating in 2024 with experience in backend development to deliver a delightful investing experience to our users.
Expectations:
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IAC) using terraform or CDK.
- Familiarity with containerization concepts like Docker.
- Participate in the implementation of automation, and best practices within CI/CD pipelines like github / jenkins / argo workflow.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of documentation related to  devops processes, policies, and procedures.
- Monitor and respond to  infra alerts and incidents, working with the team to mitigate those incidents.
- Collaborate with developers and operations teams to ensure timely resolution of devops(infra)-related issues.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Bash, Typescripts ), with the ability to read and understand code.
- Understanding of Cloud Service Providers such as AWS.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey technical information to different stakeholders.
- Familiarity with DevOps principles, continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, and agile development practices.
- Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and command-line utilities.
- Eagerness to stay updated on emerging DevOps tools, and practices.
- Urge to make cloud infrastructure more optimized in both cost and ease of development.
