Job Description For Altair Off Campus Drive 2024
The developer role is to enhance Inspire capabilities by adding features and bug fixing. It will involve adding/editing code in C++ and Python.
What You Will Do:
- Add new functionality
- Maintain existing code
- Interact with product teams to understand the requirements and develop the functionality.Â
What You Will Need:
Basics:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or related field
- 0 – 3 years of professional experience in software development, preferably in engineering domain related to CAD/CAM/CAE or Manufacturing
- Experience in C++ programming
- Object Oriented Design Skills
- Excited to work in a fast-paced, team oriented environment with proactiveness and open-mindedness
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently in global environment
Preferred:
- Experience with a scripting language like JavaScript or Python
- Knowledge of modern simulation and optimization applications such as topology optimization
- Knowledge of Data structures and Algorithms
- Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis, CAE, CAD
- Experience with Computer GraphicsÂ
