What will you be doing?
- As an Embedded Software Development Engineer, you will be contributing to embedded software development for Global products in Machine Applications for different global Volvo CE sites and products like Wheel Loader & Rigid Haulers, you will manage and deliver the software modules.
- As part of our team, you will drive and participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Our teams work in a cross-functional and cross-cultural agile setup, and we really support each other, so you will quickly feel part of the work environment. You will be part of a team of enthusiastic and talented individuals, and collaborate with other teams daily, making sure we continue to deliver great products.
Who are you?
- In your professional experience you have worked with Embedded C and Embedded C++ and have expertise in either of them. You care about quality deliveries. It is an advantage if you have experience from working within Automotive industry or heavy equipment industry. Good knowledge within GIT, Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS) and CAN is preferred. You are an open and creative person with a can-do attitude.
- You will be a part of a team where you will feel appreciated, challenged and where we value a work-life balance. You share our curiosity for innovative technology. You enjoy working with software and get your energy from collaborating within, and outside of our department. You enjoy learning new skills and can also contribute to your colleague’s growth.
Job Requirements
- Good knowledge in C Programming or C++ programming, embedded software development, and real time behavior.
- Knowledge in development environment.
- Knowledge in ECU system (e.g. Communication & diagnostics protocols).
- Knowledge in RTOS Concepts.
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:
- Master’s/Bachelor degree in Computer Science/Electrical/ Electronic Engineering
- Excellent spoken and written English
