Job Description For Travelopia Recruitment 2024

• Participate in project and development meetings
• Ensure the quality of testing for all delivered developments and upgrades
• Liaise closely with all relevant parties to fully understand the functionality to be tested
• Provide accurate estimates for all work as required
• Define test cases and prepare test scripts, to improve coverage and minimise execution time
• Complete test scripts/packages and ensure test results are accurately recorded
• Provide sufficient detail to development to facilitate the optimal resolution of bugs and provide any further assistance required
• Ensure all aspects of work meet expectations and company quality standards
• Ensure a good level of teamwork, highlighting issues in good time and proactively suggesting solutions to resolve problems
• Effective prioritization and meeting of deadlines
• Input into the improvement of existing testing methods that will increase quality and reduce cost
• Champion and encourage consistency to agreed testing methods What we are looking for: Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Core Competencies
• Demonstrable experience in professional testing, ideally e-Commerce and/or Travel related
• Experience in testing front-end transactional websites including responsive/mobile testing
• Experience in testing CMS or back-office applications is desirable
• Minimum ISEB/ISTQB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing
• Experience with a range of testing methodologies and processes (Agile/Waterfall – Functional/Non functional)
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to coordinate across multiple applications and test teams
• Good attention to detail to capture inaccuracies and inconsistencies
• Excellent knowledge of the development life cycle
• Experience in defect raising, tracking, management, and retesting using a recognized tool
