Job Description For Trafigura Careers 2024
- Operating and maintaining the daily bank reconciliation process.
- Provide daily reports to a wide range of stakeholders
- Liaison with Treasury/Trade Finance to resolve outstanding issues.Â
- Daily reporting of bank reconciliations to other departments.
- Booking bank charges, interest, foreign exchange differences.
- Uploading bank statements to ensure all accounts reflect correct position.
- Other ad hoc tasks and project work as and when required
- Inter-co reconciliation
- Inter-co, Portfolio and Broker reconciliation
- Debtor/Creditor reconciliation
- Debtor/Creditor reporting (age-wise)
- VAT reconciliation and reporting
- Inter/Intra-co invoicing and reallocation of costs/income
- Daily suspense balance clearing and reporting
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Mandatory
- English speaking with excellent spoken and written communication skills.
- Educated to degree level or equivalent and highly numerate.
- Able to cope in a highly pressured and demanding environment and handle high volumes of work.
- Consciences and detail oriented
Desirable
- Excel and database skills.Â
- An understanding of financial controls
- Experience in bank reconciliations and in accounts payable/ accounting
- Book keeping / basic accounting experience.
- Experience with Intellimatch / Oracle
