Job Description For PetroBot Careers 2023
The Mechanical Engineer contributes to the achievement of better platforms by improving our robotic platforms, exploring new innovative ideas, experimenting with complex mechanical designs, designing products in accordance to ATEX/PESO Certification, and maintaining existing platforms. The responsibilities include maintaining platforms, research and development of new platforms, coordinating with manufacturing vendors, preparing and understanding technical documentation.
The candidate must be highly motivated & driven and should be able to dive right into our start-up work culture, understand our development process & roadmap for the future and take control of the assigned duties and responsibilities. He/She is expected to be proactive, positive, and passionate about the company’s offerings and how they create value for clients, take initiatives and be creative in determining different methods for success and develop a working plan of action in their respective function.
In brief, you job will involve:
- Works closely with a multi-disciplinary team to design precision electro-mechanical robotic systems.
- Troubleshoots problems in manufacturing, assembly, and field-use of components; analyzes test data and reports to determine if designs meet functional and performance specifications.
- Performs detailed drawings and drafting of fixtures, mechanical parts and assemblies, and other components.
- Prepares or directs preparation of product and user documentation.
- Operates robots at customer locations.
- Part and assembly design, from concept to detail design to manufacturing introduction. Detailed mechanical design for a wide range of production fabrication processes in order to optimize performance and cost.
- Create, manage, release, and maintain BOM’s.
- Mechanical modeling and testing of components.
- Validation of components in system configuration.
- Coordinate with electrical engineers to ensure that all requirements are met. Collaborate with manufacturing vendors and suppliers to transition concepts to production.
Skills Required For PetroBot Careers 2023
- B.Tech degree or beyond in Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
- Thorough knowledge of mechanical engineering fundamentals and tools, including FEA.
- 1+ years experience in 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred).
- Hands-on experience with machining, fabrication, and rapid prototyping skills and technologies. Testing the performance of mechanical designs.
