As a web Developer at KukuFM, you will be responsible for developing an application that supports Millions of Active users. Your day-to-day work would not only involve writing code but also thinking about solving problems in the most optimized and scalable ways. At KukuFM we give freedom to understand the problem construct a solution and implement the same. We expect the person to be highly motivated and proactive in finding issues/improvements and working on the same

Duties And Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and designers, to develop high-quality applications.
• Design and implement new features, functionalities, and enhancements for our existing applications.
• Write clean and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
• Debug and resolve software defects to ensure the optimal performance of applications.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continually improve the development process.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Work closely with QA teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.
• Write Unit Test Cases to ensure the quality of the application

Requirements And Qualifications

• Experience of 1-3 years
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficient in at least one Object-oriented programming language
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and integration of third-party libraries.
• Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Fair understanding of building RESTful APIs
• Good understanding of git or other version control systems
• Solid understanding of core JavaScript (ES6), React, HTML, and CSS.
• Able to identify areas of improvement and drive best practices to deliver high-quality, performant, and scalable solutions.
• Confident in owning your role, and bringing creative ideas to the hands of our users.
• Test and debug the application across different browsers and devices to ensure cross-browser compatibility.
• You help your teammates overcome obstacles, resolve blockers, and complete work tasks.
• Familiarity with modern frontend build tools and workflows (e.g., Webpack, Babel, npm/yarn).
• Solid understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proactively acts without being told what to do.
• Understanding of REST APIs.
• Interest in building UI with performance, accessibility, and scalability in mind.
• Strong UX and product sense with the ability to negotiate the right MVP
• You help your teammates overcome obstacles, resolve blockers, and complete work tasks.
• You deliver praise and constructive feedback to your team, teammates, and manager in a useful manner.
• You actively seek out feedback from your teammates and manager and work to use the feedback that you receive as a tool for growth.

Nice To Have

• Knowledge of mobile app security best practices.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
• Experience working on high-traffic web applications with large user bases.
• Knowledge of server-side rendering (SSR) and/or static site generation (SSG) with React.
• Experience with NextJS
• Graduated from Tier I engineering college
• Understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
