Job Description For IG Group Recruitment 2024
As a Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for both front-end and back-end development, contributing to the entire software development lifecycle. You’ll work closely with our internal Conversion Rate Optimisation Consultants, UX/UI designers and Architects to create high-quality web applications through AB testing, ensuring scalability, performance, and an exceptional user experience. We follow Dev Ops culture and own Design, Development, Testing, Release, Support and expect you be heavily involved in that.
- Develop and maintain scalable web applications using modern technologies (React, Java EE) across from back-end to front-end.
- Collaborate with the Design and CRO teams to implement pixel-perfect user interfaces, deployed through A/B testing software (Optimise)
- Work with out tag manager to ensure all variables and elements are correctly tracked for tools such as Contentsquare, Google Analytics
- Create and optimize database schemas to support applications.
- Write clean, reusable, and efficient code across front-end and back-end technologies.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues to ensure seamless performance.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
What you ‘ill need for the role
We’re looking for a flexible, self-starting, enthusiastic developer who will be willing be working with the team to achieve their goals. The essential skills that we are looking for are related to:
- Strong communication skills – you communicate frequently, clearly and aren’t afraid to share your opinion
- Development of Java EE applications and Development of Javascript based like React applications.
- Proficient in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue).
- Ability to Identify and analyze user requirements with meticulous detail
- Experience working with AB testing tools (such as Optimizely) and Tag Management Solutions
- Can easily prioritize, assign and execute tasks throughout the software development life cycle.
- Write well-designed, efficient code, including review, test and debug of team members code
- Knowledge of Tag Management Solutions (such as Google Tag Manager)
- Experience with responsive web design and accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG 2.0, ADA compliance).
- Basic knowledge of database design principles
- Document development phases
- Ensure our applications are secure and up-to-date – In-depth knowledge of popular Java frameworks like Spring, SpringBoot, Hibernate, JUNIT etc
- Problem-solving abilities
- Must have expert knowledge of at least one application server such as Tomcat etc.
- Self-motivated and an effective team player, with excellent written and verbal skills.
