Job Description For Datafortune Careers 2024
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented B. Com graduate to join our Company as Accounts Executive. As a fresher in this role, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience and develop foundational skills in accounting practices and procedures. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of basic accounting principles and a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
- Assist in the day-to-day financial operations of the company.
- Record and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries & credit card entries.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are properly documented and classified.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Support the accounting team in month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Stay updated on relevant accounting regulations and best practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the senior members of the finance team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in commerce (B. Com) or related field.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software (experience with Tally or Zoho is a plus).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a dynamic work environment.
