Assam Postal Circle Recruitment 2022 – Eligibility Criteria, Age Limit, Application Fee
Educational Qualification

| 1. | Postal Assistants and Sorting Assistants | 1. The candidate must have passed the 12th standard from a recognized university or Board of secondary education. 2. The candidates of higher qualifications will also be considered but they have to fulfil the above conditions. There will be no preference for higher educational qualifications. 3. The candidate will be required to furnish certificate of Basic Computer Training from a recognized Computer Training lnstitute. 4. A candidate has studied computer as a subject in Matriculation or Class Xll or Higher educational qualification and in such cases a separte certificate will not be insisted upon. |
| 2. | Postman | 1. The candidate must have passed the 12th standard from a recognized university or Board of secondary education or Knowledge of Local Language i.e. Assamese/ Bengali/ Bodo. The candidate should have studied local language as a subject at least up to 10th standard. 2. The person appointed to the post of Postman shall require a driving licence to drive a two-wheeler or three-wheeler within a period of two years from the date of his appointment. 3. The candidate will be required to furnish a certificate of Basic Computer Training from a recognized Computer Training institute. And for candidates who studied computer as a subject in Matriculation or Class Xll or Higher educational qualification and in such cases, a separate certificate will not be insisted upon. |
| 3. | Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) | 1. Candidate must hold the 10th standard pass from a recognized Board. 2. Candidate must have Knowledge of Local Language i.e. Assamese/ Bengali/ Bodo. The candidate should have studied local language i.e, Assamese/ Bengali/ Bodo as a subject at least up to 10th standard. 3. The candidates of higher qualifications will also be considered but they have to fulfil the above conditions. There will be no preference for higher educational qualifications. |
